From abdominal cavity sperm of male bed bugs reaches her ovaries. It causes naturally. In ovaries this sperm grows up and it’s the future bed bugs.
By this abnormal process (as males hits the abdomen) female bed bugs get injured (sometimes seriously) for leaking the body. For this reason, female is not interested to mate gradually for fear of injured. Most of the time female get infestation and diseases only for mating with the male. Thus it reduces the life span of bed bugs. So female bed bugs avoid matting again and search for new host to live alone. Bed bug Eggs
Life cycle of bed bugs start with Eggs.
A female bed bugs can bear sperm 4 to 6 month normally. A female bed bugs can lay 1-5 eggs daily and in average a female bed bugs lay 5-10 eggs and 200-500 eggs in her total life time. A bed bugs in average can live up 12 to 18 months (1 to 1.5 year). To continue reproduction male and female have to take at least one meal between every 14 days. Otherwise they fail to mate.
The size of bed bugs eggs is 1mm and color is light white. Eggs look like small amount of salt and hard to see with open eyes. You can use microscope to identify it quickly.
Nymphs or baby bed bugs
1st stage Nymphs
To become Nymphs from eggs can take in average 10-21 days. But temperature and environment can vary the growing time. In this life cycle bed bugs can feed. The size is near about 1.5mm and color is gray white but light color.
Without taking their first meal bed bugs cannot go to the next stage. In the 2nd stage the size of this little bed bugs are 2mm.
In this life span bed bugs turns darker than before. The size is near about 2.5mm.
After molting bed bugs start 4th stage and become more active than before. Overall size goes at least 3mm.
In this life cycle bed bugs are defined as Teen bed bugs. Basically it takes 5 weeks to reach in this stage. Every stages of nymphs can take overall 1 week. Generally, it’s the best time to grow up for a bed bug. Most crucial moment of a bed bugs is first 2 stages. If there have available food they can survive them. But in the 5th stage they can breed himself and can the ability to hide easily anywhere. To come in this life span, bed bugs have to wait 5 to 6 months (though environment, temperature and food availability can differ it). In this stage size of a bed bugs become 4.5mm. Bed bugs are defined in this stage as teen and it’s the close stages of adult bed bugs.

Adults Bed bugs
It’s the last stage of a bed bugs in the life cycle. They become fulfill in this life stage. The most changing things in this stage is that they can able to reproduction. An adult female bed bugs can produce 3-5 eggs daily, though the calculation goes in average 5-10 in a week.
Host of bed bugs:
Host means where bed bugs stays. I define it like that. So Where all stages of bed bugs are found? Bed bugs stay in the nasty and dark places. But they try to stay where feed is available. So they are found in the coach most where human sleep. In the beds, bed covers, pillows and in the carpets are the best places where bed bugs stay and spread their generation.
On the other hand, they are found in the wall, table, drawer and all kinds of dark places at the very closes of human.
Feeding habit of bed bugs:
Bed bugs feed with blood and they mostly feed human blood. Bed bugs can live 5 to 6 month even more without feeding and baby bed bugs (Nymphs) can live 1 to 2 months without feeding. But to grow up baby bed bugs have to take 1 meal at least to overcome each stage.
Someone ask if bed bugs can feed pets blood. But it’s not possible. Basically in the whole life cycle bed bugs can’t feed with others animals blood. Bed bugs only feed with human blood. So it’s a myth only.
How do bed bugs spread?
Gestation process is so interesting as well as panic for bed bugs. We’ve discussed about this in the beginning of the article. So when a pregnant female bedbugs travel with you and if she goes with you in your house, she can produce a lot of eggs and it can spread bed bugs in your home. The life cycle of bed bugs then starts in your house. Most of the time bed bugs spread in this process.
When you stay in the Cinema Hall, public Bus, University hall or any other places where bed bugs are available, they can travel with you and it can cause you infestation of bed bugs.
